<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide chute of an image forming device so as not to disturb a toner image on an intermediate transfer belt 11. <P>SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method, a plate 63 as a work is held between a pair of dies 55 and 61 which are moved relatively to each other, and the plate 63 is sheared according to the development shape of a guide chute member by moving one die 55 to the other die 61. Next, an outer edge of the sheared plate 63 of the development shape is ground.
