PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of securing connection with electrodes of an electron source and little affected by voltage fall, even with the use of sintered wiring easy to attain low resistance by a thick film. SOLUTION: The electron source having an electron emission part 16 on a substrate 10 is structured of a lower electrode 11, an upper electrode 13, and a protective insulating film 14 pinched by them. The lower electrode 11 is to be a signal line, and the sintered wiring 18 to be a scanning line and the upper electrode 13 are connected by an auxiliary electrode 17.
