PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a foreign matter content of a standard product satisfying a specification, by excluding irregular products not satisfying the specification via a separate path, and to avoid contamination in downstream facilities by clearly classify, in a silo, resin pellets of a high foreign matter content to be disposed of as the irregular products not satisfying the specification. SOLUTION: A resin pellet storing device includes: the silo 1 storing resin pellets; a qualified product discharge path 2 for discharging resin pellets with a small foreign matter content stored above the vicinity of the lowermost part in the silo 1 as the standard products; and an irregular product discharge path 3 for discharging the resin pellets of the high foreign matter content retained in the vicinity of the lowermost part in the silo 1 out of the silo 1 as the irregular products.
