<p>Reactive dyes have the formula (I) (where R is H or alkyl; D is the residue of an aminoazo compd. in which the N atoms of the azo groups are bonded to C atoms of homocyclic aromatic rings; and X is the residue of a colourless organic acid contg. a substituent reactive towards cellulose). Esp useful for dyeing cellulose textiles, towards which the dyes are reactive. A wide range of shades of excellent light fastness can be obtained.</p> |
