PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure and a connecting method of a feed water pipe and a faucet facilitating adjustment of a projecting amount of a connecting pipe from the end of a pipe member without damaging the pipe member. SOLUTION: A connecting pipe body 23 of the connecting pipe 14 for connecting the faucet 12 and the pipe member 13 with one end 13a connected to an upper end 11a of the feed water pipe 11, to each other is formed of a synthetic resin material. An insertion end 23a of the connecting pipe body is inserted in the other end 13b of the pipe member 13, and the connecting pipe body 23 and the pipe member 13 are joined to each other with an adhesive, for instance.
