PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a regulator for regulating a blocking element from a blocking position to a release position to be operated without depending on turning of a worm gear, and consequently turning of a wiper arm in a wiper device having the mechanical blocking element. SOLUTION: An armature shaft is immovably supported in an axial direction. The regulator has an armature plate which can be adjusted by a magnetic adjustment force of an armature laminated body connected to the blocking element (16) to which a current is fed, and is at least partially ferromagnetic.
