PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusion type dust collection device of a cleaner in which an air current pressure loss is small, dust collection effectiveness is good, the filtration accuracy of dust is high, and a noise is low. SOLUTION: An air flow containing the dust enters into a dust collecting container 3 from an inlet port 1 and the rough dust in the air flow is filtered by a filtration tube 4. Then, the air flow enters into a cyclone cylinder 5 from a cyclone inlet port 6. After entering into a cylinder body 9, the air flow slows down from the upper side to the lower side and reaches an umbrella form reflecting board 11 while rotating. At that time, most air flows serve as upward rotation air flows to be discharged from an exhaust pipe 7. The some air flow helically flows along the inner wall of a cone tube body 10 with the dust separated by centrifugal force, slips off to the lower side, and enters into a dust box 14 through a dust fall annular gap 13 in the fringe of the umbrella form reflecting board 11. The action of the umbrella form reflecting board 11 can prevent the air flow from turning reversely and blowing up the dust, can avoid dust blowing up and the secondary pollution of air, and can raise the efficiency of dust collection.
