The distributing valve 6 controlling the alternate supply and exhaust of oil through lines 9a, 9b to the cylinder chambers 10a, 10b of a receprocating piston motor is caused to changeover by oil displaced by plungers 13b, 14b depressed at the end of each stroke by cams 11a, 12a movable with the piston 10d. Each plunger 13b or 14b is slidable in a respective cylinder having an overflow pipe 15, 16 cut-off on depression of its plunger, so that oil in the cylinder-is displaced through a line 17 or 18 to cause the distributing valve 6 to changeover. Oil displaced through, say, line 17, passes to a chamber 6h in the valve 6 causing movement of valve spool 6l to the right. This movement progressively decreases the output from a pump 3 passing through the line 9b to the motor. When the valve spool reaches a position uncovering a chamber 6f, the spool is moved fully to the right by pump pressure communicated thereto through throttle 22 and line 23. The chambers 6f , 6g are permanently connected to pump pressure through lines 23, 24 whereby their respective lines 17, 18 when in communication therewith are flushed with oil. An auxiliary pump (29) feeding through a second changeover valve (31) may be provided, Fig.4 (not shown) whereby slow speed operation may be effected with the valve 6 and the pump 3 inoperative.</p> |
