A camera module is provided to remarkably improve inferiority due to foreign substance and a spot inferiority occurring during the manufacturing to block a flowing material to flow into a housing by a rib formed on a top of a filter receiving unit. A camera module includes a printed circuit board(11) equipped with an image sensor(12) at the upper center, a housing(H) closely coupled with the upper side of the printed circuit board and having a housing body(13) and a barrel(16) separated from the body, and a cylindrical body of a lens barrel(18) through an upper opening of the barrel. A filter placing unit(14) inwardly protrudes and extends in the housing body. A rib(14a) protrudes directly upward from the circumference of the filter placing unit, and an IR filter(15) is installed on the filter placing unit to intercept infrared rays. To the housing, the cylindrical barrel having female thread(16a) formed in the inner circumference closely contacts the upper side of the housing body, and the housing body and the barrel are integrated into one body by inserting a fixing protrusion(17a) into a fixing recess(13b) of the housing body. |
