<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration for moving a member in conjunction with the opening/closing of an opening/closing member while downsizing an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with: an engaging member (51) provided in the opening/closing member (U3) to be opened and closed with a rotational center (U3a) as a center; and link mechanism (12+36 to 43) having a part (43) to be engaged that the engaging member (51) can engage, is coupled to a driving transmission/release member (31) to move the driving transmission/release member (31) between a driving transmission position and a transmission release position, moves the driving transmission/release member (31) from the driving transmission position to the transmission release position while engaging the engaged member (43) with the engaging member (51) as the opening/closing member (U3) is opened, and moves and disengages the engagement member (43) from the engaging member (51) when the driving transmission/release member (31) is moved to the transmission release position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
