<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the coast deceleration controller of a vehicle for improving operability by adjusting coast deceleration in response to the strength or weakness of the coast deceleration request of a driver for the coast accompanied with an acceleration opening operation. <P>SOLUTION: This coast deceleration controller of a vehicle is provided with target coast deceleration arithmetic means (steps S1, S2) for determining the strength intention of a coast deceleration request by a driver in the case of coast accompanied with an accelerator opening operation, and for calculating a target coast deceleration by a value which is becoming a large value according as the coast deceleration request is becoming strong and coast deceleration control means (steps S3 to S6) for achieving the adjustment of the scale of the target coast deceleration calculated by the target coast deceleration arithmetic means under the torque control of the motor generator MG, in a vehicle configuring a driving system with a motor generator MG and an automatic transmission AT. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
