<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure insulation and suppress the internal short circuit of a battery even if the battery is used in such a sever condition that a falling shock and repeated vibration are applied to the battery, in an insulation ring for securing insulation between an electrode group and a metallic case. <P>SOLUTION: The battery is equipped with the electrode group 5 constituted by spirally winding a positive plate 1 and a negative plate 2 through a separator 6; and an insulation ring 12 preventing the contact with the metallic case 7 at the upper outer periphery of the electrode group 5, and a dimensional difference absorbing part absorbing a dimensional difference between the electrode group 5 and the metallic case 7 and making them contact is installed on the surface corresponding to the metallic case 7 side of the insulation ring 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
