PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blocking release device for a muddy water type boring machine, which easily and inexpensively releases blocking of a mud removing means without needing to release the pressure of a working face. SOLUTION: The blocking release device 30 is provided in the mud removing means 14 of the muddy water type boring machine 1, and has a passage serving for communication between a mud removing valve 14b of the mud removing means 14 and an excavated sediment discharge port 14a of a chamber 12. The passage is an inner pipe formed inside an outer pipe, and the inner pipe is divided into a plurality of pieces.
