<p>A web is marked e.g. mechanically, electrically magnetically or by printing, and fed past a detector which detects the mark and actuates a cutter to cut the web along the mark. The cut-piece is deflected by a guide surface onto a conveyor which conveys it to a piling position. The mechanism is used with looms or printing machines and operates automatically.</p> |
