PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane foam which can improve the strain characteristic of its low density foam. SOLUTION: This polyurethane foam is obtained by reacting, foaming and hardening a raw material for polyurethane foamed body containing polyols, polyisocyanates, a foaming agent, a catalyst and a hydrate of inorganic compound; and it is a low density foamed body of which the apparent density measured by conforming to JIS K 7222:1999 is 16-22 kg/m<SP>3</SP>. In this case, water is used as a foaming agent in an amount of 5-9 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of polyols. As a catalyst, an amine catalyst and a metal catalyst, of which the resinification activation constant by titration method is 0.22×10-2.0×10, and the ratio of foaming activation constat/resinification activation constant is 0.4×10<SP>-1</SP>-3.0×10<SP>-1</SP>.
