PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve apparent reality of a three-dimensional map image by displaying actually viewable objects other than buildings in a vehicle-mounted map display device for displaying the three-dimensional map image. SOLUTION: It is decided whether a reflecting wall of a structure such as a building exists ahead of one's own vehicle or not (step S40). If it is decided that it exists, if it is daytime (step S50), and if it is fine (step S60), prestored information on the type and body color of one's own vehicle is read (step S70).
