PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus premised on the provision of a rotary shaft externally exposed capable of improving the imaging accuracy and reliability by surely blocking the intrusion of dust or the like from a gap between the rotary shaft and a support member even when the rotary shaft is stopped and at a high speed rotation of the rotary shaft as a matter of course. SOLUTION: The rotary shaft 2 fitted with an imaging section 3 is supported by a support member 1 via a bearing 10, the rotary shaft and the support member form labyrinth gaps R1, R2, a V-shaped packing 12 is freely movably fitted between the rotary shaft and the support member to clog the gaps between the rotary shaft and the support member, and high pressure air is ejected to the V-shaped packing from first and second high pressure air supply units 11A, 11B at rotation of the rotary shaft to movably energize the V-shaped packing in a direction of opening the gaps between the rotary shaft and a base and to eject the high pressure air to the labyrinth gaps.
