PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submerged pump retaining constant operation accuracy for a long period of time and excellent in durability by preventing damage of a rolling bearing and a mechanical seal. SOLUTION: In this submerged pump, a motor part M in which an electric motor 4 for rotating a main shaft 2 perpendicularly extending and two or more rolling bearings 6, 8 for rotatably supporting the main shaft are stored, a pump part P in which an impeller 10 attached to the lower end side of the main haft is stored, and a mechanical seal chamber S arranged between the motor part and the pump part and provided with the mechanical seal 18 for airtightly keeping the motor part, are installed in a standing manner. An annular slinger 20 for preventing penetration of foreign matter into the insides of the rolling bearings and the inside of the mechanical seal chamber is provided to at least one of or both a part on the mechanical seal side of the rolling bearing 6 arranged near the mechanical seal chamber and a part on the mechanical seal side of the main shaft.
