PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of constraining formation of air bubbles on and near the inner surface of a substrate. SOLUTION: In a microarray, including a substrate and a cover that is attachable firmly to a part of the substrate, the microarray is characterized by making the inner surface of the cover to be hydrophilic property, making the cover to have at least one through hole, making the substrate to contain a plurality of relief structures, and making selective binding matter to be fixed on the upper surface of convex parts.
