PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the lubricating performance of the sliding part of a thrust bearing, particularly, the lubricating performance during re-starting after stoppage in a scroll type fluid machine such as an expander. SOLUTION: A fixed scroll 51 and a swing scroll 52 are disposed oppositely to each other so that they are positioned eccentric to each other and the scroll laps 62, 72 are meshed with each other. A swing scroll base plate 71 is held between the fixed scroll 51 and the thrust bearing 53 with a minute clearance formed therebetween and installed on a bearing housing 57. A lubricating oil inlet 20 communicating with a lubricating oil feed part is formed in the bearing housing 57, and an annular nozzle body 77 is fitted to the bearing housing 57. A plurality of annular oil paths 89 communicating with the lubricating oil inlet 20 and oil jet nozzles 93 opening to the land part 67 of the thrust bearing 53 are formed in a nozzle body 77. The oil jet nozzle holes 93 communicate with the annular oil paths 89 through a fixed capacity oil storage part 88 formed in the nozzle body 77. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
