PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid occurrence of abrasion caused by the tilt of a swash plate, while supporting spheres of inexpensive and durable ceramic balls in support members of a tilted support part supporting the swash plate, by means of members having oil films of lubricating oil. SOLUTION: A plurality of pistons 15 are slidably inserted in an axial direction of a cylinder barrel 14 rotatably supported by a shaft 13. The swash plate 18 tilted by entrance and exit of the pistons 15 is brought into contact with the pistons 15 through a shoe 16, and the swash plate 18 can be tilted about the two balls 19 disposed along an axis 36 orthogonal to a rotation axis line 38 of the shaft 13. The balls 19 are inserted in the support members 42, 43 inserted in hemispherical holes 40, 41 respectively formed in a rear face of the swash plate 18 and a shaft-side housing inner surface 39, and oil grooves 44, 45 for forming the lubricating oil films are formed in the inner peripheral surfaces of the support members 42, 43.
