PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester woven or knitted fabric for a fused net such as a water-treating membrane, which has a more excellent breaking strength than those of conventional fabrics and can maintain a performance for penetrating a liquid, and to provide a fused net. SOLUTION: In the polyester woven or knitted fabric comprising polyester multifilaments and used for fused nets, the mutual contact points of the multifilaments are 0.4 to 32 points/mm<SP>2</SP>, when observed in a state that a 10 cm square woven or knitted fabric is pulled with a force of 2 N in both the vertical and horizontal directions, and a porosity is 0.7 to 15%.
