PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame structure and an image recorder having this frame structure, suitable for size reduction in the device, and suitable even for installing a relatively large paper tray. SOLUTION: The frame structure 10 has a first frame part 11 and a first support part 31. The first frame part 11 defines a first space 12 formed so as to exactly receive a part of a paper feeding cassette 35A storing paper. The first support part 31 is constituted so as to rotatably support a cover member 30 for selectively blocking up the first space 12.
