PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle making appearance of a side frame body constituted by an outer plate joined with a bone member sufficient. SOLUTION: The railway vehicle has the side frame body comprising the outer plate 6 joined with the bone members 11, 12, 13; a roof frame body; and an end frame body. In the railway vehicle, they are integrally assembled to a base frame or the like. The bone members 11, 12, 13 of the side frame body have a standing up surface becoming in the standing up state relative to the joined outer plate 6; a joined surface joined to the outer plate formed while clamping the standing up surface; and a leaving surface left from the outer plate. In the side frame body, lateral bones arranged with the bone members 11, 12, 13 in a lateral direction of the vehicle body are joined to the outer plate 6, and an inner plate 9 is joined to the leaving surface relative to the plurality of lateral bones 11, 12, 13 aligned in a vertical direction of the vehicle body.
