PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attachment/detachment of a tire while ensuring safety at attachment/detachment of a spare time even if a rear bumper is installed. SOLUTION: In the spare tire mounting device, a spare tire carrier 24 is fixed to two cross members 22 laid over left and right side rails 10A, 10B approximately in parallel, the chain 24A is inserted to wheel disc holes 16A, 18A of the vertically superposed two tires 16, 18, and a lower surface of the wheel disc 18B of the tire 18 positioned at a lower side is received by a hanging plate 24B mounted to a distal end of the chain 24A to mount the two tires 16, 18 on a lower surface of the vehicle body. At this time, a pair of brackets 26 in which engagement and disengagement with the cross member 22 are performed by rotation of the tire 16 are arranged at two positions spaced from each other so as to clamp the chain 24A utilizing the wheel disc hole 16A of the tire 16 positioned at the upper side while clamping an upper surface and a lower surface of the wheel disc 16B.
