PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable it to easily pursue the cause of a wrong printing position by computing a paper feeding amount with analyzing a paper feeding command using a hexadecimal dump printing function when a fault generates in a printing with an application software (Word, Excel, etc.) of Windows (R). SOLUTION: In the hexadecimal dump printing, when receiving the paper feeding command from a host apparatus, the paper-feeding amount from the head of page is computed and then the computed paper-feeding amount is printed. When the computed paper-feeding amount reaches the page length or when receiving a page-length setting command, the printing is performed by starting a new line. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
