<p>A map data display device is configured as a device for displaying map data on a display device such as a navigation device. When a user operates an input unit and inputs an instruction to scroll the map data, the region displayed is moved vertically and horizontally. Here, during scroll, the accuracy level of the map data displayed is changed according to the scroll instruction continuation input time. Thus, it is possible to perform scroll/display by appropriately setting the accuracy degree of the displayed map and display speed in accordance with a user requirement estimated from the scroll instruction.</p> |
