The aircraft has a fuselage (2) with a door opening enclosed by a door frame (4) and a door (6), especially a passenger door, for mounting in the frame. The arrangement has a door structure that can be lifted from a locked closed position to an unlocked closed position and can be pivoted from there into an open position outside the door frame and the fuselage. It can be pivoted back into the unlocked position and from there it can be lowered into the locked closed position. There is a cover element (18) for the door gap (16). An independent claim is also included for an aircraft fuselage with an inventive arrangement.
