Disclosed is a pharmaceutical comprising an urea derivative having an excellent anorexigenic effect or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical is an anoerxigenic agent and/or an appetite suppressant which comprises an urea derivative represented by the general formula (I) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. [Chemical formulae 1] (I) (II) (III) (XXXIX) (XL) wherein R<SUP>1</SUP> represents a C<SUB>6</SUB>-C<SUB>10</SUB> aryl group which may be substituted at one to five positions independently by a group selected from the substituent group (a) or the like; R<SUP>2</SUP> represents a C<SUB>6</SUB>-C<SUB>10</SUB> aryl group which may be substituted at one to five positions independently by a group selected from the substituent group (a) or the like; E represents a group represented by the formula (II) or (III) or the like (wherein R<SUP>3</SUP> represents a hydrogen atom or the like; R<SUP>4</SUP> and R<SUP>5</SUP> independently represent a hydrogen atom or the like; X and U independently represent a group represented by the formula CH or the like; and m and n independently represent 1 or the like); and A represents a group represented by the formula -NH-C(=O)- or the like.
