METHOD FOR INKJET RECORDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inkjet recording which realizes recording of a high resolution image superior in quality of characters and is superior in continuous ejection and intermittent ejection.

SOLUTION: There is disclosed the method for inkjet recording wherein ink is ejected from a recording head having a nozzle plate applied with a water-repellent treatment. The ink includes at least a colorant, water and a polymer compound having a hydrophilic principal chain with a plurality of side chains which can be cross-linked with each other by radiation of an activated energy beam. The water-repellent treatment of the nozzle plate is carried out by eutectoid plating using nickel and a fluoropolymer.
