<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite which can dramatically improve DC superimposing characteristics; and an electronic component using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The ferrite is an NiCuZn-based ferrite containing, as main components, iron oxide in an amount of 45.0-49.0 mol% expressed in terms of Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, copper oxide in an amount of 5.0-14.0 mol% expressed in terms of CuO and zinc oxide in an amount of 1.0-32.0 mol% expressed in terms of ZnO, and the balance of NiO. The NiCuZn-based ferrite further contains bismuth oxide in an amount of >0.25 to 0.40 wt.% expressed in terms of Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and tin oxide in an amount of 1.00-2.5 wt.% expressed in terms of SnO<SB>2</SB>, each based on the main components. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
