<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer receiving sheet which is suitable for a thermal transfer printer for a dye, has good adhesive properties between a barrier layer and an image receiving layer, has good transferring properties of a protective layer for an ink ribbon to the image receiving layer face, is excellent in releasing performance from the ink ribbon, and can obtain an image with high sensitivity and high quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer receiving sheet prepared by successively laminating an intermediate layer comprising hollow particles, a barrier layer comprising a resin as a main component, and the image receiving layer on at least one face of a sheet-like substrate, the image receiving layer comprises a reaction product of a polyvinyl chloride resin having active hydrogen and a polyvalent isocyanate compound as a main component, and the barrier layer comprises a modified polyvinyl alcohol resin reacted with the polyvalent isocyanate incorporated in the image receiving layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
