<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterile adaptor with a sterile drape covering a tele-robotic system for remotely controlling a surgical instrument. <P>SOLUTION: A manipulator assembly 4 is further equipped with a sterile drape 70 with such a size as covering substantially the whole manipulator assembly 4. The drape 70 includes a pair of holes 72 and 74, and a pair of the holes 72 and 74 have such a size and arrangement as a list unit adaptor 52 and a cannula adaptor 64 extend through the holes 72 and 74, and a list unit 22 and a cannula 66 can be attached to the manipulator assembly 4.
