摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-vehicle controller for a hybrid vehicle capable of enhancing performance of following up to a preceding vehicle or overtaking the preceding vehicle, by exhibiting high acceleration responsiveness in accordance with an acceleration intention inter-vehicle distance information, when traveling by inter-vehicle control, and capable of contributing also to enhancement of a fuel economy. <P>SOLUTION: This inter-vehicle controller for the hybrid vehicle is provided with an inter-vehicle control system having a motor 303 and an engine 305 in its driving system, and for controlling braking and driving forces to maintain a set inter-vehicle distance with respect to own vehicle when capturing the preceding vehicle. The inter-vehicle controller is provided therein a motor/engine driving force distribution ratio setting means (step S4) for setting a driving force distribution ratio of the motor 303 to a required driving force to be higher as the inter-vehicle distance information input from the inter-vehicle control system indicates information of requiring the driving force of high responsiveness, when traveling by the inter-vehicle control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
