<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device for displaying two images at different main viewing angles. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a main cell displaying the two images and a switching cell controlling viewing angles. The main cell simultaneously displays first and second images, while the switching cell has alternate transmissive and blocking areas and displays the first and the second images whose main viewing angles are directed in first and second directions by controlling the viewing angles.
