PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device of a general-purpose spark ignition type fuel injection engine which prevents a failure at start of an engine under high temperature by preventing deterioration of sucking force of a fuel pump at the start of an engine by gas phase fuel in a fuel passage. SOLUTION: The fuel supply device is equipped with a pressure sensor 13 in a fuel passage 4 for connecting a fuel pump 3 with an injection valve 6. When a pressure value in the fuel supply pipe 4 at the start of an engine detected by the pressure sensor 13 is lower than a prescribed value, the injection valve is opened by an electronic control device 7 until the pressure value in the fuel supply pipe 4 reaches the prescribed value.
