PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber sheet suitable to an air filter medium which selectively and efficiently removes only aldehydes without employing activated carbon or stuck activated carbon. SOLUTION: In the fiber sheet, an inorganic particle and an acid hydrazide are carried on at least the surface of a fiber. In the fiber sheet, preferably, at least one of the inorganic particles is zeolite and the mole ratio of the SiO<SB>2</SB>/Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>of the zeolite is 20-300.
