PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device with good steering feeling capable of suppressing torque steer. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device is provided with a steering torque sensor 16 for detecting steering torque applied to a steering wheel; and a steering motor 10 for assisting steering and controls an assist amount by the steering motor 10 according to the steering torque detected by the steering torque sensor 16. The device is provided with a steering angle sensor 15 for detecting a steering angle of the steering wheel. When difference in left and right drive forces is generated, the assist amount is corrected according to the steering angle detected by the steering angle sensor 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
