PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily establish synchronism without human intervention if setting data stored and held in a present device are not synchronized with the identical setting data managed in a master unit. SOLUTION: In response to powering-on due to loading a battery, a line with a master unit is connected (ST1). It is determined whether setting data, that a line-connected master station holds, to be downloaded are synchronized with setting data stored in a storage section (ST5). If it is determined that both the setting data are not synchronized, downloading of the setting data is requested to the master unit (ST6).
