PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an output result excellent in visibility by applying an image processing to pages including image regions degraded in visibility when reading an original image and applying the image processing thereto. SOLUTION: An MFP 100 disclosed herein reduces image data by a plurality of pages read from each of originals each comprising a plurality of pages into one page or below and outputs the reduced image data. In this case, the MFP 100 discriminates whether or not pages with low visibility exist in a plurality of reduced image data reduced to one page and outputted from a data processing apparatus 115, When the discrimination indicates presence of page regions with lower visibility, the MFP 100 is characterized in to apply magnification image processing to the image data with the page regions.
