PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power-saving without separately providing a power supply control circuit for controlling a high-voltage power supply. SOLUTION: A plurality of driving circuits 40 corresponding to a plurality of head units 60 are provided so that a drive waveform is amplified without distortion while driving each driving circuit 40 by an AB-class operation during printing and each driving circuit is driven by a B-class operation during non-printing. The drive waveform for avoiding thickening of ink executes ink vibration via a switch IC36. However, a current flowing in the circuits becomes minimum at that time.
