PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for feeding a shaft-like part where a shaft-like part with an extraordinary length which is longer than a normal length, i.e., an excessively long part can be removed at a feeding path from a parts feeder up to a position before a feeding rod. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a parts feeder 6 of a shaft-like part 1 and a feeding path, and performs a feeding operation in such a manner that the shaft-like part 1 held by a feeding rod 20 is inserted into a reception hole 35 of an electrode, and excessively-long-part detection means 43, 61 for detecting and removing an excessively long part 1A are placed at the parts feeder 6 or the feeding path.
