A communication device (100), which is connected to a one-way data connection and to a network over which messages are bidirectionally transmitted and received, comprises a one-way data connection status detecting part (101) for detecting a connection-validating request, which is outputted from a communication device at a data receiving end and indicates that a one-way data connection can be used to transmit data to the communication device at the data receiving end, and for detecting a connection-invalidating request which is outputted from the communication device at the data receiving end and indicates that the one-way data connection cannot be used to transmit data to the communication device at the data receiving end; a local-device address acquiring part (102) for acquiring a local-device address from a message via the network upon a detection of a change from the connection-invalidating request to the connection-validating request; an address holding part (104) for holding the local-device address; and a message transmission continuing part (105) for responding, based on the local-device address held by the address holding part (104), to the message received via the network independently of whether the connection-invalidating request is detected or not.
