<p>Method for the wraparound labelling of an object, having at least locally a tubular cross section, such as rod, tube, cable, cable bundle or cylinder, with a label (E) much longer than the length of the section (5) to be wrapped, whereby the label is placed around this section and a tab is formed by sticking together face to face the two overhanging parts of the label, characterized in that - the label is held by its two ends (E1, E2), - a loop is formed around the section to be labelled, - the ends of the label are first joined together by sticking them together face to face, and - the overhanging parts are stuck together face to face to close the loop on the section which is to be labelled.</p> |
