A system and a method for processing a payment approval of a check card exceeding a usage limit, and a payment approval processing device and a recording medium thereof are provided to process the exceeding the usage limit by checking whether a credit card is linked with the check card, and using the linked credit card. An information storing part stores the information of the check card having the usage limit to a storage medium(135) by linking with credit card information. An information checker(515) checks whether the credit card information linked with the check card information is found in the storage medium if the payment approval is impossible due to exceeding the usage limit of the check card. A check card payment approval processor(520) processes the payment approval corresponding to an amount exceeding the usage limit by using the credit card information linked with the credit card information if the linked credit card information is found.
