An organic light emitting device is provided to improve a driving voltage and efficiency characteristics without bad influence on color coordinates as to blue, green and red light emitting display devices by forming a metal oxide at an interface between a first electrode and a hole injection layer(or hole transportation layer) and then forming a buffer layer on the metal oxide. An organic light emitting device includes a first electrode, a metal oxide, a hole transportation layer, an emission layer and a second electrode stacked in sequence, and the metal oxide has a work function of 4-7eV. The metal oxide is a transition metal oxide or a lanthanide metal oxide. The metal oxide is more than one selected from a group comprising V2O5, Pr2O3, WO6 and Ag2O. |
