METHOD FOR PRODUCING OUTER MEMBRANE PROTEIN OF HELICOBACTER PYLORI AND THE TRANSFORMED MICROORGANISM PRODUCING THE SAME

Provided are a transformed microorganism capable of expressing the surface antigen protein of Helicobacter pylori and an antigen protein extracted and purified from the microorganism so as to be usefully used for preventing and treating the Helicobacter pylori infection. The Cag12 protein of Helicobacter pylori K-51 comprises an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 6. The isolated DNA comprises a sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 5 coding the protein. The vector includes a gene coding an outer membrane protein of Helicobacter pylori derived from human. The transformed microorganism is obtained by introducing the vector into E. coli pMG36e/cag12. To prepare an antigen protein of the Helicobacter pylori, the transformed E. coli is cultured. The vaccine for preventing the Helicobacter pylori infection comprises the antigen protein as an effective ingredient.
