Provided is a cylindrical lithium secondary battery which is lowered in the manufacturing cost of a center pin by preventing the elution of metal into an electrolyte solution. The cylindrical lithium secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly in which a center pin is inserted into the central part; a can which accommodates the electrode assembly; and a cap assembly which seals the can, wherein the center pin(260) is provided with a main body(270) made of a metallic material and a coating layer(280) formed on the surface of the main body. Preferably the main body is made of steel, copper, tinned iron, aluminum, bronze or brass, and the coating layer is made of a polymer. |
