An inspection apparatus for liquid crystal display panels is able to perform inspection for defects, such as orientation abnormalities, of the liquid crystal display panels. The inspection apparatus comprises a heating chamber 100 to heat a plurality of LCD panels received in a cassette 10 and an inspection unit 200 preferably positioned adjacent to the heating chamber 100. The inspection unit 200 receives the LCD panels heated by the heating chamber 100 for inspection, via a panel transferring part 300 which withdraws an LCD panel from the cassette 10, supplies it to the inspection unit 200, then returns it to the cassette 10. The panel transferring part 300 is located within the heating chamber 100, thus helping to maintain a uniform temperature within the chamber 100. |
