A device for displaying server state information with a 7-segment LED is provided to enable a user to directly understand a state of the server in real-time and reduce a server management cost by displaying various state information of the server to the inexpensive 7-segment LED as a state number. The 7-segment LED(23) displays the state information of the server(20) as the state number by connecting to an I/O(Input/Output) port(22) of the server. A CPU(21) converts the state information indicating an operation state of the server into the number and transfers the number to the 7-segment LED. The state information includes POST(Power-On Self-Test) state information and booting state information of the server.
